Price List

We cater for all abilities from complete novice through to advanced riders. All instruction is to ABRS and/or BHS standard. All new riders are assessed during their first lesson and thereafter may arrange a private or group lesson according to the instructors’ assessment of their riding ability. We endeavour to make all instruction safe, enjoyable and progressive.

Children can start riding at Strangeways Farm Equestrian Centre from the age of 6 years. An introduction lesson begins on the lead-rein with the child being led around the farm or arena. Once familiar with the pony they then go on the lunge rein, where balance and an independent seat are developed. After approximately 10 lunge lessons, children of 6 years and over can join a group lesson where the emphasis is on learning and having fun as they progress.

We strive to educate all children with a sound education based on the British Horse Society ethos.
